Getting started
What if I don’t like the demo?
Then you don’t pay. Tell us what to change, or walk away. No hard feelings.
Do you only work nearby?
No. We’ll travel to meet you, or show you your demo on a video call, wherever you are.
What do I need to do?
Answer a few questions and send any photos you’d like used. We write the words and handle the techy bits.
How long does it take?
About two weeks from first chat to live site. Most sites go live within a week of you saying yes.
I already have a website. Can you improve it?
Yes. We’ll show you a new version next to your current one, so you can see the difference before deciding.
Prices and paying
How much does it cost?
Websites start at £360 (or £30 a month over 12 months), with plans from £30 a month. Those are founding prices for our first 20 clients. You get a fixed quote with your demo. See the prices page.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. The quote is the price. Optional add-ons, like a logo or business cards, are listed on the prices page and only added if you ask.
How do I pay?
Securely through Stripe, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You pay for the website when you approve the final version, or you can spread it over 12 interest-free months. Your plan is then taken automatically each month, and your invoice is emailed to you every time.
Can I cancel my plan?
Yes, any time, with 30 days’ notice. There’s no minimum term. If you’ve spread the cost of your website, whatever’s left is due when you leave.
Owning your website
Do I own the website?
Yes. Your website, your web address, your files.
What happens if I leave?
Your website comes with you. No exit fees, no files held back.
Can I make changes myself?
You can, but you don’t have to. Send changes through the change form and we’ll do them.
Your monthly plan
What does the monthly fee cover?
Keeping your site online, secure and backed up, plus small updates each month. Growth adds upkeep of your Google Business Profile and review requests.
How do I ask for a change?
Use the Request a change form. Most changes are done within two working days.
What if I need more than my plan covers?
We’ll tell you the cost before doing anything.
The technical bits
Will it work on phones?
Yes. Every site is built for phones first.
Will I show up on Google?
Every site is set up properly for Google. Where you rank depends on things like reviews and competition, so we won’t promise a position.
Do I need a web address?
If you don’t have one, we’ll sort it. If you do, we’ll connect it.
Is it secure?
Yes. Every site has a security certificate and is kept up to date.
